And yet we have heard nothing from Tyson Green, [...]
No offense, but as a game director, Tyson Green has the charm of an "executor of a deceased person." Being silent can be an answer too. Generally, I wouldn't be surprised if they shut Destiny 2 down. Maybe it goes on... but it will never be like it was.
Edit: I'm at the point where I really don't care anymore. The only thing that keeps me connected is the people from my clan. But for them I just need Discord and no Destiny 2.

Same. I only play because I have a few friends left, and even then it is a struggle to log in. The rest bailed during or shortly after EoF launched. That console bug that prevented people for logging on for *weeks* really convinced many people to move on.

I haven't seriously played for weeks. After starting with the second reward pass, I felt "burned out" by the first one. Generally, I'm disciplined (in real life), but I couldn't motivate myself to go on with Destiny 2. The only thing I do right now is to check in at the weekly reset and for Xûr. Instead of playing Destiny 2, I started exercising again on a weekly basis, which is the real game changer after almost three months. Stopping for the first time with Destiny 2 and rethinking where this is going, I was having, like, a huge gap in my evenings every week. But now, it pays. That's me, but based on the frustration with Destiny 2, I think I'm done with video games in general, even if I have plus or minus 20 to 30 unplayed titles in my libraries. The only two titles I'm looking forward to right now are Death Stranding 2 and The Witcher IV, but those formats have absolutely nothing to do with how Destiny 2 is (was). I can play them whenever I want.

You sound like me 😆 evenings now spent watching TV & not playing destiny. Exercising daily when id normally be gaming, id say 2-2hrs30 a day every day just simple stuff but I've never looked or felt better. Also on the verge of giving up gaming, always said id stop when destiny did & im thinking of giving black ops 7 a go in November for 1 last hurrah as I use to play cod nonstop a decade ago , maybe not, idk yet but I'm all but done.

I'm with you, & being autistic it's part of my daily routine. I'll be relieved when it's over tbh so I can move on. Black ops 7 might do that for me, we'll see. I enjoyed the beta just not sure I wanna play it for a year straight.
