As the title says, what the heck with that? I'm playing the reclaim missions, twice I've loaded the Cabal one, twice other players abandon the mission within a minute. What's the point of quitting before you even know how the mission is going to go?

Speaking just for myself: If I run in and instantly die, I usually figure the Fireteam is better off without me, and I should give that slot to someone who can actually make use of it/benefit the team. Nobody wants to feel like a liability, y'know? And in some of these difficulty levels it's very easy to feel like a liability. I think a lot of it comes down to confidence; people don't feel confident that they can complete the activity. I'm trying to be better about this, I stuck it out through a Master Fireteam Ops last night despite my frequent deaths, managed to complete the activity, but I did feel kind of lousy about eating up my team's resurrections. And the difficulty scaling in the Portal is kind of wacky and unpredictable. Hopefully next week's changes will help smooth that over a little bit.

由Obi-Juan編輯: 10/11/2025 2:48:19 PMA lot of people I think loaded up an activity and were equipping their loadout, then before they're fully ready the game locks it. That's enough reason to quit for a lot of people. Remove the locked loadout from matchmaking and I think you'll see this occur a loooot less

5 回覆Has Bungo forgotten how to add someone from the queue into a matchmade activity when someone quits? I have yet to see a replacement brought in after a team of 3 suddenly becomes a team of 2. Is there something that says join-in-progress is disabled? I could tolerate quitters a lot better if they were replaced promptly.

1 回覆Because modifiers. I just want to select an activity and a difficulty. Not spend 5-10min changing my load outs around to optimize every time I play

I know i did it to random on accident. A friend and i were running just to get the bonuses. I launched the first one as a custom and we completed it. I launched the second one and didnt realize i put us into the match made version, because we loaded in instantly. I asled him if he wanted to stay or pull us out. He said leave because he wasnt about to run it 30 under level.

3 回覆They are lazy bums hoping that you might already be done 70%. They just do it for the loot. Effort? What is that? Why should they, bungie is at their beckon call after all. The community should be happy they fill the fireteam spots. Its hard to play a game when you work 102 hours and have 7 kids.

2 回覆If I get people that rush in and die within 30 seconds I'll leave unless we're in a party/ team. When the team starts with 1 life and it's gone that fast forget it. Between network errors and the length of the mission it's not worth it. I decided to try and tough it out yesterday during a reclaim run. We get to the end and I get disconnected. Just not worth it. It's not bad enough that once you hit 500 you're doing tough stuff but the modifiers are terrible and sometimes don't even work correctly. I can grind and that's fine but when you need an A on every activity and higher power gear isn't guaranteed it gets tiring. Bungie inadvertently made me realize what my time is worth.

1 回覆Some folks don't check the modifiers and load in with builds that won't work. If they are on a great arc warlock build but the activity has solar hunger they can either leave or have a bad time. Sometimes both.

No ideas, I did it couple time in FF usually when I’m joining someone lower level and they don’t notice the power level is adjusted up and end up launching us into a C grade activity. And I’m not grinding Encore for 30’ for a C.
