Do not pat them on the back over this. They never should have proposed this idea in the first place. Now we gotta sit through a repeat of D2 Year 1 where it's just Bungie slowly reverting every horrible pointless change they made.

Im not pating them on the back just telling them this is finally something in the right direction. It seems common sense isn't something that is in abundance at bungie. The portal was a complete waste of resources and shouldn't exist. They have alot of work to fix their complete failure that was edge of fate. Lots of players dont realize how bad the grind gets as you get higher, and if bungie doesn't fix that, they can do all the adjustments to power leveling they want most people are going to tap out. We need the portal fixed a lots more weapons and content and i honestly dont think bungie can donit by the time renegades drops. I have a feeling renegades will be our last dlc. I dont want that because I loved the game until edge of fate dropped.

Even if they completely get rid of the Portal, it won't save the game. Backtracking is not something we should be suffering through at this point in the game's life, especially since we already had to go through with it during Year 1 of D2. The difference is during Year 1, Bungie had a whole year to work on it. Now? Renegades drops in two months. There's no way they're going to clear all these awful changes in time, especially without any bugs.

This is exactly how i feel atm. They seem to think that reversing shite decisions that they've previously made because everyone hated them justifies praise. I hate that. If i performed like that at work, I'd be sacked within a month.
