This is why. The Portal doesn’t work. I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again and Cross says it in the video, the Portal was change for changes sake and it cost too much dev time that they could have used to give us more content within the old pre-EoF system. I’m like Cross in the video I alternate between acceptance and anger. The Portal should never have happen and neither should the stupid mechanics in EoF which will never be used again. Whoever green-lit this mess should be fired and Pete should never have got his bloody golden parachute. This game is just so dead. Too much damage has been done and there is not enough will, talent, manpower or good enough leadership existing within Bungie to rectify it quickly enough. If I was in charge I’d put Kepler into the destinations tab, put the solo ops and pinnacle ops into Vanguard ops and then revert the game back to how it was preEoF. I’d keep the new armor maybe the tiers on them and weapons but that’s about it.

I played old content recently to level up for the season catalyst and I was having more fun there than the current stuff. If they made it so we could get higher drops and level up that way, I’d have more reasons to play. But now that I finally got the catalyst and unlocked it I’m back to the current crap being the only was to level up. Let me log off and go practice my guitar.

Because they are trying to get Destiny 2 to play more like a mobile game. They are also barrowing from Diablo 4, that's where I think they got the idea of us starting from 0 each season/expansion.

Bungie should put excision on the fire team ops.

They nerf every -blam!- thing and everything you do is waves of reskinned enemies and shitty battlegrounds. Bullet sponge bosses. Game is a shell of its former self.

Frankly all this stuff couldn't been avoided if bungie makes content based on long-term legivity... Think about it when they make seasonal content in its short-term player numbers go down when they make seasonal content with long-term Content players numbers go up as we saw with season of heresy... The problem is what they need to do to fix their game but they just don't want to do it. The problem is not the portal the problem is bunging they want to make these new changes but they don't want to make the initiative to make additional content to keep players engaged in the game they want to use old content and make players replay it... Just like how so many people canceled their pre-order for edge of fate after they discovered that we weren't going to get any new strikes... The first few months of edge of fate I was happy I had a reason to log in I loved the grind I loved the progression but when they brought down the progression dropped a power made it to plus instead of plus 3 it wasn't fun anymore it felt like a f****** chore...
