Mythic difficulty is not required to level nor does it help level. You can log in, play some stuff and get rewarded for your effort. That’s more true than ever before.

If you want T5 kepler weapons/armour it is required. Wrong it sucks. Once your power level everything is GM and it sucks. Any REAL rewards are locking behind non casual difficulty it sucks. Portal needs to go or be a minor season pass equivalent not the only rewarding place to engage

Nope, you can play lower than GM regardless of your level. I can load up normal mode strikes right now at 450. So the trophy version of regular loot require harder content. In other words, you get rewarded for your efforts…

Its ridiculous.[/quote] No, you can be 400 and above and still play casual activities. You can load up normal level activities whenever. Now you can’t play casually and level up past 400. That’s not a casual level and being that high only impacts your ability to play harder and harder content. If you don’t want to do harder content,’you don’t have to and raising your level no longer matters. Someone did say it was required. Read up a bit. You can wait until the Heavy metal event coming tomorrow, which has unique rewards. Or you can wait until ash and iron in a week, which brings multiple new activities and a host of new rewards. Getting 450 now is an extra chase for those who want it. It provides almost no reward on its own. The level cap gets raised in a week anyway and 450 will be easy to obtain.
