Not really, it's just new and has a novelty to it. There is nothing spectacular about Destiny Rising on mobile. I have a 1 year old phone and graphics are ps3 level in part. Part of it is ok. The overall design and gameplay fine. I like the characters and all but graphics are doodoo. If i played on pc i would prob have a way different story but it has some performance issues and the latency is double or triple what d2 is.

Agreed Netease wants to make money while Bongo wants to make Marathon lol....

Many people may end up feeling this way for awhile because Destiny Rising is new and though it is a Gacha game having new stuff in the Destiny universe I feel is more what may be pulling people to it. I myself will probably take a D2 break to try out Rising and see how it feels after a week or 2 and see where I go from there. I mean D2 will be resetting power back to 200 in December so power grind isn't too much of a concern right now aside from just trying to get to a good level to try and find some good T5 to hang on to for their set bonus.
