Audiobooks are more accessible to a lot people, and if your book makes any headway in becoming known, more people will probably end up buying the audiobook than the regular one. Plus, while I understand full well how honking expensive this stuff gets, locking an accessibility feature behind a paywall is a little bleh. You could maybe talk to your patrons about some sort of kickstarter thing instead. Though take all of this with a grain of salt. You’ve had way more success than I have getting pepple to read your book.
