I think we are going to see more developers and management let go. The game is not in a good place and Sony knows it. I don’t want anyone to lose their jobs but it is inevitable with the state of the game. Do you like Borderlands? I’m hoping it is good this game has lost a lot of its appeal.

Doing GMs with no revives is ridiculous. Diminishing rewards in all activities!!! Nah!! I will not play these new ridiculous unplayable new activities. No way man! not playing them...I rather quit the game. The new DLC is already at a discount and I still don't want to give bungie another penny...I will not buy it. I own all their previous DLCs but the state of the game is so bad now and they have vaulted pretty much 90% of the game...all destinations are irrelevant except for the portal. I'm good, no thank you. I'm just waiting for borderlands...borderlands looks awesome!!!!! The boss just got fired and another clueless fool took over. There is definitely something wrong with the leadership culture at Bungie.

I’ve also played since start of d2 and own all DLC… no way I’m paying for this nonsense… light grind is a joke, New Gear means I can’t use the builds I want, portal jukebox of meaningless nonsense is the content , no exploring galaxy… best gear locked behind the light grind and guardian ranks, then it all resets and you start again due to New Gear nonsense. The whole thing’s a bad joke…. I’m out for now.

Borderlands 2 is better than 1 IMHO. 3 is okay. 4 is right around the corner and I can't wait. It's definitely a different vibe--you can tell they don't take themselves as seriously as Bungo does. I've also enjoyed most of the DOOM franchise. Best part is if you get stuck on something hard you can back off the difficulty, get it done, then ratchet it back up and go on your way. BTW I am also female, about your age, mostly solo player. I discovered D2 when it came out on PC (I don't do console) and was totally hooked from the Red War onward. Used to have so much fun. EoF is deplorable in that regard. As in most others.

Besides Borderlands, I recommend giving Fallout 76 a try. The new season starts in a couple of weeks, that will greatly improve camp building. There are tons of missions and side missions. Public events every 10-15 minutes that drop useful loot. Has a big map to explore. Free on Xbox or PC with game pass. Often on sale for under $10 on PS. DLC is always free. It does have microtransactions but it's 99% cosmetics and they hand out stuff from the store for free every day. It's so much better now than it was when it was first released.
