We had a standard: forsaken. Everything has went down since.
Forsaken is a bad example. Mediocre story, it used the old mission style where it's 95% kill enemies outside the mission and do public events 5% actually playing story missions (which were like 3 minutes long at the time), and empty location (only witch queen and final shape actually seemed to work on making a decent location though tbf) , plus the only exotic that seemed to actually be decent was only because of a bug.
Most of the "positives" it got was just reverting horrible decisions but we don't seem to tie good changes to other dlcs so I'd assume we will do the same here.

Forsaken added fun to the game. More than 5 missions in the campaign. 2 locations. Buffed weapon/super/ability damage. More strikes.
Shadowkeep brought the "go slow" slog. No improvement in lightfall. Witch queen was over hyped, Curse was more fun. Beyond light was just there but did cut down the "light" grind. Final shape was as close to fun as Forsaken, so that may be more comparable to a standard but still less story than forsaken.
