It’s literally going to add like 20 seconds to a run, not the biggest of deals to get annoyed at.

It's the fact that Bungie chose to fix this instead of more important things. It's about the fact that Bungie at every turn has made this game as annoying as possible, by choice. Stop defending rubbish ideas.

There are a few valid reasons to fix a bug like this. If one level is done extremely quickly, players will play less or only play on days when it is featured, making other levels played less and resulting in weird player engagement.

Nah they just want people to take their time with power leveling. Just take a look at rivens "joining back allies" that has NEVER been fixed even tough the fix would be insanely easy to do. They dont just focus on "easy fix" they just focus on what goes against their plans. And players farming effectively the portal is against their plans. They dont hesitate to disable anything that makes players go faster (ask about encore mission lmao)

I did read the post, all I meant was of all the things to post about on here there’s far more egregious things that they are doing right now we should shout about. I know it might speak to a larger issue of them always targeting things that help us a bit, but maybe they just did it as it was a really quick, cheap and easy fix and made them look like they are fixing things in this release. I am not defending them just trying to speak rationally on a forum that often feels like everything has to be a conspiracy against the players. Game Dev is difficult, and has more complexities than I as a none game dev could know (although I do follow the scene closely). Anyway not going to waste any more of my time on this (you guys shouldn’t either, life is short). See you star side.
