As I am writing this, I just played a match where these players literally could not miss. I am sure that 40% of players cheat in this game. Mostly with mouse and keyboard on console.
Currently, I am on ps5 with internet 1000. Great speed and performance. For some reason Xbox players have an advantage. Yes, from my 10 years playing destiny. I have noticed that equipment performance is key in relation to pvp. But when I am in pvp and the players that are getting the most kills or can't miss are the players who are on Xbox crossplay. I am sure the Xbox console players would say the same for ps5 players. As a ps5 player, I can barely defend an Xbox player since cross-platform went active.
I had to leave the match because one player(xbox) was unfazed by team shots and in 1v1 engagements you couldn't defend against that player. Plus dealing with other Xbox lag hunter clones getting 35 defeats a game. It's terrible and insane.
I hope others understand what I am talking about. Bungie please figure this problem out and come up with a solution. This gaming is failing bad.

Ive used both xbox series x/s and PS5 to play this game. Regardless of console it tends to come across that the other console has the advantage. I dont think either console has more cheaters, i think the crossplay system is just bad. Ive seen quite a few suspicious players on both consoles but the driving factor for both is most likely my opponents internet or bungies crossplay stability.

3 回覆lol this is hilarious to read…. xbox players say ps5 cheats ps5 players says xbox cheats everyone says pc cheats they have built in to the mechanics what I call “probability mishaps” they purposely make you make a mistake by have your button just not work, they make walls move behind you to make you out if position, lag , hit registration wont register, mele whifs if they didnt have this the game would be boring and too easy but the rage of an unfair loss makes you play again

由l Xemnas編輯: 8/22/2024 8:40:57 PMProbably an unpopular opinion, but if I melee something and it triggers a lunge, it should be a guaranteed hit. Similar to how magnetic grenades will guarantee the second hit if the target was hit by the first detonation.

1 回覆Bad netcode and p2p dude. I have the same issues. 10 shots to a guardian in their super and no damage. That aint lag, and i dont have packet loss on wired so why for 6-7 seconds of getting shot does someone not take damage. Even if i had lag it wouldnt be delayed that much..

Nothing you've said indicates cheating and you're sure 40% cheat. Unlike others that claim 1 player never missed a shot you are saying that multiple players could not miss. How can this claim be made? It makes no sense whatsoever.

1 回覆Having one person on the opposite team with 40 + kills then your team can’t break 10 per player and can’t get a final shot on that player. I’m on Xbox and see this often as well. I can normally be a 20-25 per game K however when I run into these cheaters I’m at 5 to 10. Bungie doesn’t care. Cheaters do rule this game. Bungie sure doesn’t!

6 回覆There's only one option left really... How can the non cheaters even fight back while under this amount of duress?

4 回覆The headshots is what gets me! I watch the kill feed the other day of a guardian who NEVER missed! Everyone was a head shot! And this dude had like 32 kills! And he was sliding and dodging with his Hunter and still hitting "impossible" head shots!

So this issue is a super simple one. It is fully due to the whole crossplay thing and that it's essentially forced. Both players on opposite console can both have the best internet possible, but ultimately, it doesn't matter due to both having to be connected across platforms through bungie themselves. I've personally played matches where everyone in the match, be it pc, xbox, or Playstation, have all been fine, but the main ones I run into that seem to be over the top laggy a while on xbox are almost always Playstation. If bungie had dedicated servers for pvp, then it would be down more to just who actually has bad internet

It's impossible for me to tell if people are actually cheating or not. However, last week I was playing Team Scorched (on Destiny 2, not Destiny) where it seemed as though no matter how times I blasted someone with the cannon they wouldn't take damage or die. In one game the lobby was lopsided with six players on the enemy team and four on my side. One person on my side just stayed in one spot repeatedly blasting their gun at the wall while the enemy never came after them. This essentially meant it was a 3 vs. 6 matchup.

The hard to shoot laggy people o think are typical streamers I've seen a few on guardian theater that I thought were suspicious on my end but later saw them playing from their perspective and it look fine. Has something to do with it I think.
