Yeah, you don’t need a disability for lfg to become a nightmare. I have no anxiety or anything like that but my willingness to team up with people has decreased so much through all the toxicity I’ve experienced.
So double agree!
You only need look at some of the people in this forum. Would you want to talk and play exclusively for any amount of time with them...no.
Knowing this, they then hope we have a friend or two we will then selfishly nag to death to play and then buy Destiny 2. That's the real aim here.
Yes, I totally agree. I used to play with friends and a clan once. Since D1, I have met a few very nice ppl and enjoyed playing raids and stuff for years with them.
Now most of them have moved on or left Destiny and I am back to being a solo player. I know that I cannot play a lot of content as a solo player and I accept it, because I'd rather give up those activities than having to deal with the sort of toxic ppl I have often found in LFG.
I am not saying that all of the ppl found on LFG are toxic or bad. I am sure there are still a few nice and helpful players out there. But most times I have used LFG in the past, I have come upon many very unfriendly, and rude ppl whose behavior make the whole experience very aggravating and extremely frustrating to say the least.
Unless you have a clan and ppl whom you have been playing with for a long time, I'd dare say the the term 'friends' rarely apply to ppl you randomly meet in a video game. My guess is that many ppl have forgotten what the term 'friend' really means because they don't have a real social life anymore, besides a computer screen.
