I loaded into Trials solo for my 4th win on the card, already have a loss on it, and the playlist is very populated due to the new rolls on the Summoner auto rifle.
There should be absolutely no reason why a team with an average of a 1.47 k/d in trials matches against a team with a 0.89 k/d average. (Check imgur link for team matchup from trials report)
MM needs looking into if this is how matchmaking is working because I have played over 70 games this weekend and without fail my 4th, 5th, and 6th wins on a card have a massive team mismatch where I consistently play against top 3% players with over 1.6 k/d overall and have teammates with a 1.0 k/d or lower.
This is not a pure skill issue, as I have beaten much higher ranked players than me when the MM is actually somewhat balanced, but after playing almost 20 hours of trials this weekend it feels more like a gamble on what teammates the game decides to give you than actual lobby performance.
I have also noticed that this mostly only happens with the matchups that are duo-solo vs. duo-solo because my full solo lobbies have felt much more even in skill disparity.
I don't know what could be causing this because even teammates or opponents with lower trials k/d and elo but higher competitive rank (in normal crucible) or vice versa is not consistent with lobby matchmaking for balance purposes.
I want to love this game but I can't when the hardest flawless out of multiple I've already completed is only due to terrible team differences.

Pretty sure there is no SBMM in trials and the matchmaking is random.
In my opinion, trials need Card based matchmaking back and a good team balancing system.
