Trials Quitters
If you load into trials, try to play the game, and then when you lose a round or two, start jumping off the map or leaving the game, you deserve to get banned.
If you are in a 3 stack it’s less of an issue, but if you are a duo or solo, you just ruin the chances your team has of winning. I’ve had countless games where my teammate has left after we lost the first rounds, and then came back and almost won.
I go out of my way to message people who do this, my team or the other team, to call them pathetic. Anyone who does this should lose their right to play trials.
I’m talking from the POV of a console player, where we don’t need to deal with people rage hacking with their infinite ammo and supers.

No purpose in wasting time on games already riddled with sabotage. You get the first couple rounds to prove competent usually. Dead in 4 seconds, pushing when you cant push for beans, no concept of radar, walking instead of running, getting your ghost trapped and inaccessible for rez, not rezing when able, hiding until your teammates are dead, never teamshooting, not moving or cliff diving, game start with missing player, or bringing a bow or butter knife are all reasons I won't be sticking around past the third round. Life's too short to be compensating for timmy thumbnubs and francis featherfingers wasting it on nothingness. I paid for the game too, and while I agree it can suck, the real issue is bungle not addressing the game breaking bs that makes most of us quit in the first place.

The time commitment to get a 7 win card and the adept weapon is around 2 hours. So, I totally understand why you would quit if you see no chance in winning, it's to speed up the process of getting the loot. That's why people are there.

2 回覆•If I’m consistently killing two out of the three opponents and then dying to the last one just to watch dumb and dumber lose the 2v1 every round, I’m going to quit. •If the round begins and I’m already the last Guardian standing within 15 seconds, I’m going to quit if this already happened in the previous rounds. •If I’m fighting the enemy team by myself while my teammate(s) who is/are still alive is/are strolling around the map getting nothing done, I’m probably going to want to leave the game if we lose that round; especially if we could have won if I had at least one person backing me up. I just want to play some honest games of pvp. Hell, I barely even care about the loot. Most of the good pvp and pve weapons aren’t even earned in pvp. When people practically throw matches, it gets on my nerves and I would rather just find a new match than babysit. If I’m matched up against people better than myself or annoying hyper-sweats who stomp us, I won’t even think about leaving the game as long as my teammates play like they actually want to win. “You win some, you lose some.” I totally get that. I can learn from losing or winning sweaty games. But when I lose a game where I play well, yet still lose because I have idiots on my team, it makes me upset; I don’t want to deal with that, and why should I? I’ll just leave rather than waste my time and effort. If dumb & dumber want to throw, they can do it without me.

Trials is a horrible game mone anyway the games are unbalanced like I am -blam!- but putting me with 2 other even worse players is stupid and the other team has 2 flawless and 1 -blam!- player hahaha. Its just a farm for the sweats for stats. People see this and go na im out.

I’ve been saying it for years, just give me an opinion to surrender, whether I cliff jump or run headfirst into the enemy while hipfiring, the fact that I am throwing any match I feel I don’t stand the smallest chance of winning doesn’t change. (My usual reason for doing is is teammates being dead in the first 10 seconds.) -
22 回覆Look, kid. The lag in pvp is unplayable in most matches. If a person gets in a match and their guns don't even register the other team as targets then staying isn't helping anyone. I'll tell you something else about your limited intellect. In Trials you ARE facing PC as well as other consoles. That's the entire point of Trials being mandatory cross play. Thirdly, PC cheating is not nearly as widespread as using third party hacking controllers or keyboard and mouse is on console. Basically, everything you just posted was stupid, shortsighted, and bad for an already struggling game. I jumped back into pvp this week for the first time in a long time, and I will tell you right now it absolutely sucks to be far away from a hub. You little kids in your cities think you are "better players", when in fact you just have a huge ping advantage.

There's no point in wasting anymore time being cannon fodder. Keep leaving until bungie addresses lobby balance.

Haha trials is so bad …..terribly bad . Low numbers which means you come across the same people over and over so I understand people quitting ….why would play if you know you will be owned by pvp robots . Also just in general with the lag , disconnects , cheating and bugs just not worth it . It’s all about choice ….play it …don’t ….quit ….don’t .

I've accepted that I thing the trials gears is dope as hell but it's not worth the time investment I would need to make to try and get it all so I don't bother takes to long and to sweaty I like playing with people not against them

Nobody abandons a match without reason , more than likely you were getting owned and the quitters and suicides didn't feel like getting -blam!- 1v3 after you die -
Remove passage of persistence and the problem goes away. Bad players don’t care about leaving cause the loss won’t affect their card since at most it’ll remove one win, and good players stop leaving cause they’re not forced into carrying bot team mates that go 0-5 and die at the same spot of the map every round. Passage of persistence ruined the solo queue experience, and it’s completely evident when you realize this issue worsened 10 fold as soon as that card was introduced.

I was 1 win away from flawless last night and a teammate left the end of round 1 and the 2nd round 3. I thought no worries Bungie brought in that quitter protection thing a month or 2 back so I’m safe. Nope it counted as a loss and I had to restart. To be honest though with the introduction of the persistence card I expected a lot more quitters. But it hasn’t been that bad for my team at least.

3 回覆I fight toxicity toxically… Why would I want to [i]help[/i] a team that: Team shoots after - 3 seconds of not moving in the first round, while losing, etc? Worry bout your self and maybe the people you pair with start doing the same? The moment you try to control something you can’t you will find defeat. Stay Humble. If you team shoot at all I’m leaving and I couldn’t care less🤷♂️ Just gonna do something productive in those 30 minutes of suspension. Kk, first of all, your idea won't work locking people in game is against the rules and people can dashboard 2 leaving the game because your getting -blam!- rammed by sweats is uncalled for if they ban players that quit early dead game instantly like look at cod players do that to and you know damn well cod only cares about getting rid of cheaters

11 回覆Quitting is getting out of control again. They need to stiffen the penalties in Trials and Comp. Double losses/points for quitters and it will put an end to it quickly.

Either people jump off the map, they leave or they stay and the enemy team bags and emotes after each round won because they love to power trip. The obvious solution is a vote to forfeit button.
