I hated Twitter before Musk and I hate it even more now. Now you can’t even view it without an account and I refuse to engage with that.
I wish they would just use their own damn platforms. I don’t use any social media besides discord and youtube anymore.

then thats their choice they are choosing to make it harder for themselves that doesn't give them the right to demand Bungie make it easier for them, its not an issue, but people are making it an issue because they want everything served to them on a silver platter—the epitome of selfish entitlement.
-
You’d think it’s Bungie making it harder for everyone. They went from crying because they were using their personal accounts to making an account they barely use for CMs. If you made a platform, why would you leech off other social platforms? Personal gain. They wanted the followers and they wanted to be known. They should use the platform that bungie created for updates on a bungie game.

由XxMajestrosxX編輯: 7/27/2023 6:52:18 AMI knew one got a pizza delivered to their house. You have to understand that if you use your personal account for anything, you have to understand that people will go through great lengths when you go against their wishes. How about a simple fact: DON’T USE YOUR PERSONAL ACCOUNT FOR WORK. Once that happened, they won’t be personally threatened on a platform where threats are thrown around as normal conversation. Maybe you should try assuming people aren’t less intelligent than your condescending self.
-
Threats are not ok under any circumstance or situation, it wasn't just pizza the cm threatened was dmg04, he and his family received threats. Whether people use their personal accounts or not is irrelevant. Heres a simple fact the player although playing has no stake in the direction of bungie or destiny, if you dont like what they do then dont play its that simple, and if you have nothing good, constructive or nice to say then dont say anything. In regards to them using non personal accounts, Bungie has stated that they still receive threats on them towards the staff who run it.Which is why they have almost severed all contact with the community and why there is call for them to just go dark for an indefinite period of time, that would definitely solve the issue of people whining and threatening non stop. Be grateful they even comunicate with us period.
-
I also enjoy the fact that there are things that are against the law, such as robbing a bank. These things are “not okay under any circumstance,” yet they happen. You should understand that these things happen, of course against the wishes of everyone else, yet still occur weekly if not daily. The understanding part is what’s hard for most these days. Be aware, anything that may go against your wishes will still happen. Whether they’re not okay doesn’t matter. People break the law daily. People shouldn’t run stop signs and hurt others. If this were not true, we wouldn’t have pizza court cases and threats. You seem to be acting like since it’s “not okay,” it doesn’t happen. It does, and everyone needs to be prepared to deal with them. People shouldn’t die of cancer or illness. People shouldn’t threaten others. People should enjoy life, yet many don’t. It’s a part of life.

I don’t condone making threats, it’s dumb to believe I’m saying that. On that same note, I’m also making a point that using your personal account at work, especially knowing this community, you’re asking for your info to be leaked. To be specific, since you need this apparently, I don’t condone the stupidity of using your personal account and not expecting people to use your personal information against you. The CMs were not intelligent to think they were invulnerable to threats. Again, I DONT CONDONE THREATS, just the stupidity of not knowing it’s a possibility. The internet is a large place with too much information. If you decide to speak or type on here, accept the fact that you are not invisible. People will find you. Try not to annoy the wrong people, as seen in the pizza court case. I don’t care that they went dark, it’s a better move than actively aggregating people more and actually having something happen. But back on topic, if they had kept using their own platform for updates as opposed to their personal accounts, they’d have more, not entire, protection from these people who choose that dumb path.

Novel concept I know but it isn’t rocket science

its a far better platform than every other one, what would you prefer to use, threads? wouldn't call Elon a terrible person, he isn't bright by any means and he's made a lot of bad decisions in recent times but he isn't a terrible person

No I wouldn’t support threads either. Zuckerberg is another malefactor.

Well Twitter would only delete your account if it has been completely inactive for an extended period of time or if you post content that is against their TOS, they dont do around deleting accounts willy nilly, obviously you did something that warranted them deleting your account... and regardless boo hoo you have to make a new account i dont know how that so effects you so badly you just stated that you dont post on there, its not like you lost anything

Literally did nothing on the account. I don't post, and only ask for help from Verizon for fios service and used it for checking bungie and comiccon ticket status. It is what it is, and it has left a sour taste. I couldn't even argue a case or get notification, because they said the acct didn't exist.
