Instant crash to desktop

I haven't been on this forum in a long time and good lord all the oceans combined have less concentrated salt than this website. I thought I was mad about this issue but not nearly enough to match the intensity of everyone else so I'll just throw out my issue. I've been going through random periods where my game is immediately crashing to desktop with no errors. This has been happening on/off for a little over a year and I've looked up about everything I can. 1. Adjusted/lowered destiny video settings (FOV, graphics etc) to make less GPU intensive 2. Adjusted Nvidia control panel settings for destiny for optimal performance 3. Done about everything I can in steam - disabled hardware acceleration in all my applications including steam - removed all overlays (steam, discord, geforce experience, xbox game bar etc) - running game as administrator - verified integrity of game files multiple times - reinstalled destiny + steam - back in the day I had luck with launch options which I currently have as "-high - USEALLAVAILABLECORES -novid" which I'm pretty sure does nothing now 4. Router port forwarding (allowed UDP + TCP PC ranges - and router is up to date - fixed random networking errors I was having) 5. GPU driver is always up-to-date...I switched to studio drivers instead of game ready and that helped for a long time up until now (rtx 3070 - removed overclocking) 6. Cleared Nvidia shader cache multiple times 7. Performed sfc /scannow + disk checks multiple times (everything is updated with nvme) 8. Everything is updated - steam, destiny, windows, drivers, 3rd party apps etc Still kept getting crashes. Then I stumbled upon this thread https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/256759968?reload=true where I came across
+++ WER7 +++: Fault bucket 1254030891343739460, type 5 Event Name: RADAR_PRE_LEAK_64 Response: Not available Cab Id: 0 Problem signature: P1: steamwebhelper.exe P2: 8.13.34.93 P3: 10.0.19045.2.0.0 P4: P5: P6: P7: P8: P9: P10:
Full diagnostics: https://pastebin.com/dvvNPGvC where the answer was literally everything I've already done. Yesterday I uninstalled Corsair ICUE because that was coming up a LOT on my dxdiag logs and now it's happening more often. I realized I would only crash in graphic intensive moments - raids, pvp, salvage etc. Until I just crashed while I was fishing.... and this was the 6th crash within a ~2hr time span. Crashed in the last 3/4 IB matches, refuse to play trials/comp anymore because I end up getting banned for "leaving" so many times and screw over my teammates. Incredibly discouraging to me, and I'm sure many others in a similar position. Which is a shame because all the saltiness, instant gratification mongrels, and only child syndrome folks aside, it's a fantastic game. I'm sure I've done other things to try to prevent this issue that I can't think of atm, but is there something else I should be doing that I may be overlooking? At this point, idc if you say it's out of Bungie's hands of fixing because for the amount of time I've dumped into researching this issue I just want to know. I just can't understand the problem would be on my side because no other game I've ever played has ever done this. I understand all 94gb of destiny is different than other games, but if it's only happening with destiny then there's something in there that's different. Honestly, if you look at my pastebin and say I need a new m.2 or diff ram sticks, alrightyyyyy I'll get em. I just think me, and many others, need an educated response. No more of this "make sure to install the latest GPU drivers", "did you disable overlays", "make sure to not have any other window/application open while playing".
