If an account gets banned, you’re not given a reason why or a fair shake at an appeal. Just a nice little message when you try to log on and an auto generated email when you try to appeal. I let my son, who’s in the military play on my account with his friends when he had time. He doesn’t have the time to grind to stay current, so I let him on my account. I was banned because he was way better than me at PVP. I’ve lost an account with 5862 hours and almost all triumphs and collections completed. A simple restriction with an explanation and me not sharing an account with my son should have been sufficient. But, Bungie doesn’t give you a chance to explain and Thanos’ your account instantly.

3 回覆If I got banned, I'd see it as a blessing in disguise. Don't overproduce, recycle everything Bungo doesn't deserve customers who give their game this level of dedication.

40 回覆I mean what you did was still against the rules. Keeping light level up for pvp doesn’t matter unless it’s trials btw… your son can have an account and play pvp whenever he has time on his own account. Honestly just sounds like you got caught paying for a recov.

2 回覆由Puma Kane編輯: 3/16/2023 8:12:57 PMMaking wrong decisions suck and getting banned sucks too. Edit: But I think Bungie should give out severe warnings before outright banning. If the person does it after that, then act. It also would be a better indicator for accidental mistakes made.

3 回覆由Havoc編輯: 3/16/2023 9:23:09 PMIf bungie bans someone, they at least owe a reasonable explanation, or any explanation for that matter imo. I have a friend who was banned, this person is a net positive in the community, games with anyone, regardless of knowledge or skill, is extremely inclusive and polite to all gamers. Bungie banned this individual and has been radio silent for over a week now, nothing in appeals or on twitter. It’s a shame that such a good person who spent a lot of money and hours on this game gets deleted with no explanation. I’ll add, this individual doesn’t cheat, play with cheaters or account recover.

However, I don't understand how you didn't know account sharing was against the rules.

5 回覆That's account recovery my dude, and is in fact a bannable offense. They've stated specifically that they look for anomalies in a player's stats when alternate logins occur. For example, if they see something like you going 2.0kd flawless while he logs in, and you being a .5 kd bot when you play the majority of the time, you're gonna have a problem.

2 回覆由PK_Haseo編輯: 3/16/2023 7:48:14 PM…ever herd of “Smurfing”? It’s illegal in majority of competitive gaming. Everyone knows this rule but people still try to bend the rules. “Smurfing” - Is when a highly-skilled player creates a secondary account as a disguise to play against less proficient…mostly for profit $$$ (another term is “solicitation”, which players asking for $$$ to carried low-skilled players.)
