Sure, you can pay silver to advance otherwise yeah, you can do it but you will be playing a lot. I suggest setting your ghost to max xp gains.

If you are in a fireteam in the helm or tower, look at your character and you should see Shared Wisdom. Turn in bounties and seasonal challenges while that is active for a boost. Make sure to check, because sometimes in the tower it doesn’t proc. That’s why I use the helm.
