Neither Vow or it’s weapons are going away. Bungie has stated that they will no longer be sunsetting content. The only thing going away with lightfall are the seasonal activities such as psi-ops, containment, ketchcrash, and heists. There has been no announcement as of yet for how players will obtain these seasonal patterns after the new expansion
