I understand that you’re a company and your goal first and foremost is to make profit off of what you do. I’m fine with that and I’m not saying you should stop. But the changes with seasonal events with the addition of event cards concerning the price is just outrageous. You are marketing a 3 week event for the same price as a 3 month season. I understand that it’s not mandatory to buy to play the event but you end up missing out on some rewards, which to most destiny players are something they don’t want to miss out on because they love getting the best out of things, higher kd, god roll guns, day 1s, flawless raids, etc. I’m not saying that event cards should be removed because I think they’re a good idea to both reward the player and earn more money. But I think that a lot of players agree with me that spending $40 for essentially a season full of repeatable activities is just plain not worth it. What I think you all could do is turn the event cards into a yearly bundle that’s $10, the price of a normal season, which make sense because 12 weeks for the 4 events is about the same amount of time as a 3 month season. This will also attract a lot more people because its one compact purchase that you’re getting more out of, and will help build some more good will from the people. I get you’re all probably busy with light fall and might need the extra funding but I think that the current system of event cards is unsustainable profit wise and I really do believe this would be a great change for everyone involved so I do hope you take it into consideration.
