Can't leave a closed Companion App Fireteam
I decided to LFG with the companion app for the first time and found a group that's almost filled and joined in and immediately got accepted into the fireteam (shown by a green check next to my name). 30 minutes have passed and still no invite and the fireteam leader closed it and is showing up as offline.
Now I have their LFG post in My Fireteams list. There's no option to leave the fireteam in the companion app, and the Leave Fireteam option on the Bungie Website Companion throws out a "The specified fireteam could not be found" error. I'm stuck with this inactive LFG post in my fireteam list that I can't delete. I want to get rid of it so the list wouldn't be cluttered as I use the Fireteam feature more and more.
Is there anyway to get rid of it? Or would it go away on its own after some time?

Just ignore it. The close function is there to stop the LFG being added back onto the pile when somebody leaves it after the activity or when no longer required. In all fairness, you probably joined an LFG that had run its course; the fireteam leader likely forgot to close it and did so when they got the notification that you joined. As for being there in your “my fireteam” section, the app only shows a limited history so it will eventually disappear with the more LFG’s that you join.
