The thing there is.
All those supers do that high damage to a single target that they hit.
Nova bomb and thundercrash do ALL their damage to ALL targets in the area.
Same with chaos reach since it pierces.
So while it is true they do more to a single target.
The nova and crash are much better vs multiple high health enemies like multiple champions or ultra's in 1 area.
Also ..lets not even start on the titan storm grenades outdamaging most supers.
Also...hunter is classified as the rogue/assasin class...
And assasins in every game do the highest single target damage.
So it fits.

I don’t think you realize that gathering storm and blade barrage do their damage in an AoE. Blade barrage actually has a bigger AoE as you can spread out both attacks to different areas and gathering storm moves around if stuck to a target increasing its radius, while jolting even more enemies.

Base BB damage is around 560K and a base Thundercrash is around 260K. 560K/2 (2 waves) is still more than a Thundercrash. It should not do more than 2x a Thundercrash and 3x more than a nova bomb while it also charges faster than both of them, no argument about it. Edit: yes it does less damage than if it was ALL on one target, but even only half on one target is more than Thundercrash.

That is a blade barrage WITH a damage buff (the aspect)... and crash without a damage buff (no cuiras) Not really fair to compare that as the aspect buffs damage by like 40% Also on boss testing... With a tractor debuff. Cuiras was 700.000 BB + aspect+ star eaters was 1.1 million. So that is blade barrage with a 110% buff compared to base. Also...thundercrash does that damage to everything in its area. Lets say there is 5 champions and a boss standing together like in glassway. Thundercrash does that damage to all of them...while BB is divided by 6 at that point. But in reality blade barrage can only track like 3 things so its not even hitting everything.
