Hunter supers have to be strong in PvE since if not for invis they bring virtually nothing else to 6 man content.

  • Pre-3.0 I can agree but post 3.0? Not at all the arc one is very powerful even if it's not Storm grenade levels of broken whenever those get nerfed it'll probably be the best pve neutral game while the solar one is just good in general not op but better than Warlock and not far below Titan (Titan really only wins thanks to sol invictus and syntho+consecration though Idk if we should count exotics) while void is probably the strongest in pve, as for Stasis I've seen Hunter builds destroy rooms of ads and champions in seconds though the super is forgettable.

  • I wouldn’t say that. Hunters actually have very strong kits that they can bring to the fight, especially so in team scenarios. Solar: Solar hunter has “on your mark” and the acrobat dodge. These two paired together give everyone a 25% damage buff and a massive boost to weapon handling and reload speed. This makes doing some of the highest DPS strategies (such as auto loading rocket swapping) much better and allows the team to run mods other than dexterity mods for more efficient combat use. Void: Invisibility in nigh immortality as enemies do not shoot at you. Moebius Quiver with Orpheus rigs can provide a 30% debuff for more than 20 seconds while applying volatile to further boost damage. Arc: The combination of Liars Handshake/Assassins Cowl with combination blow and a 1-2 punch shotgun leads to some of the highest but also most consistent damage options in the game. Stasis: Silence and Squall is criminally underrated. By repeatedly freezing targets it allows for an extra 5% stackable debuff (while frozen) and causes shatter damage. This combines with the auto reload fragment of a powered melee hit makes it extremely good for a divinity user as they have next to no downtime ever. Also, if an area proves to be tough they can throw a duskfiled with renewal grasps at the teams feet for an incredible boost to damage reduction. I hope I was able to demonstrate that the super abilities are not the whole identity of hunters, nor are they all that hunters can bring into the fight for a team.
