Point contact cannon brace is not good enough.
Point contact cannon brace is the new titan exotic released in season of the plunder. It affects only the thunderclap melee ability. It's perk makes thunderclap restore melee energy on kills and it strikes nearby enemies with lightning when thunderclap hits targets.
The problem is this: If I want unlimited melee abilities, I'll use skullfort.
But at least it does the lightning, right?
The lightning literally does less damage than a single bullet from a 4 bullet burst pulse rifle.
Literally all that needs to happen is the lightning strikes have their damage increase by at least 5x as to actually kill enemies. Until then, this exotic that is one of the coolest looking in the game with an interesting concept to it will be completely overshadowed by skullfort.

Oh wait also theres a bug where roaring flames doesn't apply scorch properly on uncharged melees. Might wanna check that out.

1 回覆Would be nice to see the lighting strikes apply a stacking damage buff to the melee for each enemy hit. Have it stack and increase thunderclap and lighting damage

Another exotic that will go in my vault just like second chance last season (can’t even break a barrier shield) With it equipped it should allow overcharge for thunderclap meaning the more you hold the more damage you can do with the lightning strikes meaning red bars and majors get deleted Wouldn’t effect PvP as you have to charge it to like 90% for a ohk which lets say you overcharge to 120% you’re stationary and a sitting duck

2 回覆Agreed, if not 5x atleast boost it enough to kill red bars, it can't even kill a thrall, a THRALL, I look at those things and they die.

One issue Ive found is the lightning can proc on Knockout punches too if you have it equipped with Thunderclap, but the lightning seems to have a 5 second cooldown so you can proc it on a Knockout then it'll be on cooldown when you use Thunderclap. The issue being the Knockout lightning bolts don't give any ability regen, but they assist with getting more ability regen if you can kill more enemies with the Thunderclap and lightning strikes from it. At least that's how I think it works, could just be an inconsistent mess.
