Please STOP running too far in Nightfalls!!!!

If you run too far or skip areas in Nightfalls you can make champions despawn. If you make champions despawn it counts as not killing them and therefore you cannot get platinum. If you dont get platinum you do not get ANY nightfall rewards. No weapon, no cores, no prisms, no shards, NOTHING. PLEASE STOP!!!!! We are not playing these Nightfalls for the end of strike chest for 3 legendary shards. We are doing them for the WEAPONS.

  • Why should I care about the randoms who just happened to be in the same lobby? I know that they're not going to care about me either and I would never expect that. I started the strike because I needed to do something in them; completions, champion kills etc. I'll always prioritize my objectives and I want to complete them as fast as possible. After all, why would I spend my time guessing what objectives the randoms have. Maybe they just want the completion or they're trying to complete bounties, who knows? That's why I think speedrunning is the best choice for everyone's sake. At least they get extra rewards at the end and can continue their objectives in the next one🤷‍♀️ Before someone comments about Nightfall weapon farming in matchmade difficulties… No. You shouldn't be farming then in the lower difficulties. There's a really easy solution for this and it's called *optional matchmaking*. I remember back in Festival of the Lost We used to have a gamemode called the Haunted forest. It gave you an option to choose between normal or *Firewalled* Haunted Forest. Firewalled version allowed you to block matchmaking and load in as a solo, duo or trio fireteam without anyone else joining to fill the missing spots. We need optional matchmaking for strikes/nightfalls.
