Nothing Inherently wrong with the concept. The issue is only thematic.
Saladin is a good example. He has a flaming axe instead of a maul. Same general theme, just tailored for him.
That’s not a problem lore wise. Now if he had a version of GG, then yeah.
I think the Ghosts are/were meant to act as limiters to our power. Ghaul would be a good example of the potential of Light without a limiter.
No Guardian, in all of Destiny history and lore, did what Ghaul did. Become a hundreds foot tall entity of pure light.
That to me was a major clue but some people scoff at the idea for some reason.

How long was he in there? Seconds? That’s all it takes to become a god like being? That could only be killed by the Traveler and not us? Compared to people who grow their light for centuries and never get close to that? Yeah, pretty sure the Ghost is there to prevent that then. It’s only more evidence for my idea.

由Unbreakable Patches編輯: 6/23/2022 9:54:32 PMSo you think siphoning power directly from the source and a ghost are the exact same thing? It’s like setting up a solar panel vs having a device strapped around the sun that directly drains it for power. There’s a massive difference lmao. You can’t be so stupid that you don’t understand that.

Saying he would be stronger is one thing, but his Light worked differently. Thing is, he wasn’t stronger. We beat him. You must of forgot that. Play the game sometime. That transformation post death? Nothing like it in the lore. So you want to disregard the known difference for something you pulled out of your backside with zero support. Real genius there.
