Straight forward request if a titan uses melee to lung it should go on cool down, being able to spam it is huge problem in rift.
Edit: Before titan mains say something devoid of logic I'll just point out every other source of extra movement has cool down icarus dash,hunter dodge even blink, this is only one with no cd that can just be spamed.

Hunters have their ground dodge. And Titans have only their Shoulder Charge. That's just fair. Why should a Titan be even more limited in their mobility than a Hunter with their base jump?

You’ve got to effing kidding me…🤦♂️ Titans melee ability was neutered to make it a movement ability (and a mediocre one at that) and you’re still complaining. Hit reg is still awful and if it ever connects with someone it doesn’t kill them and titans lose their movement ability for 30+ seconds. Let’s put dodge on a 30+ second cooldown… see how that goes. It actually isn’t a bad idea because dodge is still the most broken ability in the game.

You could argue that shoulder charge has a cooldown. You need to sprint before it activates. That combined with the fact that it only launches you one direction (forward) makes it balanced with the other movement abilities.

Just wait until you encounter a astrocyte verse blink warlock they can reach the goal in 2-4blinks. The titan sholder movement looks sad incomparison.

100% Melee charge should be expended whether you hit a target or not. The fact that Titans are using it to aerial dodge/skate is ridiculous.

I don't believe that's a good idea, unfortunately. It's a melee ability, for sure, but it honestly takes a bit longer to set up than a blink or an icarus dash would. For those, the cooldown makes sense because all you have to do is jump and hit another button, nothing more. For the Shoulder Charges, you have to run, on the ground for a brief period, AND THEN jump and hit the melee button. If you hit someone, it goes on cooldown, which is nice, but taking away one of the ONLY movement tools a titan has outside of Cryoclasm is a bad idea.

Based on this shouldn't the nerf only take place in rift? This is basically like going to the doctor and pointing out a cut and instead of trying anything else they just goes right for the chopping your leg off option

At the very least remove ally collision. Eager edge is bad enough, don't need an infinite spam version.

hunter dodge: breaks AA, recharges melee, reload weapons, tied to a stat, change directions on a dime, one all three subclasses. icarus dash: 5s cooldown, practically infinite, doesn't cost anything, change directions on a dime, one subclass. shoulder charge: arc, void and solar requires melee to actually hit to blind, suppress, or scorches target, requires sprint, sprint has to be refresh after activation, tied to a stat, practically infinite if you don't hit anything, nowhere near as reactionary as the others. OP: how exactly is this the titan fault? When SC, icarus dash, hunter dodge, blink, mask of bakris (and glaive skating) can all be used in rift, the [b]Real[/b] problem is these movement abilities can be used while holding the Spark which is a development problem not player and their no hidden gentlemen's agreement to playing rift you play lose or win it doesn't matter.
