To do it so easily you have one defender on left and right. You'll have two teams of two people who go through the portals to pick up the motes, what you want to do is split team 1 where one person is on right and the other on left and you do the exact same with team 2. So whenever team one goes into the portals and then comes back to deposit the motes you have 1 person on each side who are able to take the shields off the ads. They don't have to kill them but instead just take shields off. Now talking about defenders jobs, whenever you open a portal a cyclops spawns, you have the defenders use snipers to kill them. (2 shots max) but with mods it takes 1 shot. They also do repairs but only on the front platforms. For example if the platform gets taken from the front where you deposit the motes you ask you other defender to do a repair, only when all ads on the field are dead. This allows you to repair easily. Now dps phase, never have the divinity or bubble or well player on the theater team.. Usually you'll have the defenders and one mote player do the tether system to the boss. Before doing the tether system you all want to clear all ads on the field then teather. Once you actually start dps you place the well in front of the area where you deposit motes on the opposite side of where you did the teather. With the correct mods this also allows for higher dps (using the raid armour and mods). Only ever dps where the white area is on the chest/stomach area. Personally for dps I use whisper of the worm but that requires hitting crits non stop. But you can use xeno/1000 voices or even sleeper. Some people use divinity on the boss but I don't. This encounter is really easy but difficult to teach people just because there is simply no "stand there and only kill ads". Because people have to go in portals to collect motes and then you have others who have to repair and shoot open portals.
