Equipment Load Times
Im on Xbox Series X on Destiny 2 and I'm having an issue where whenever I click to change perks on my weapons, armor mods, or view anything such as finishers, the animation will finish playing for the finisher and for the weapons and armor it waits for the model to become visible before I can select any perks. Anyone else having this issue as well? Before WQ cam out, it would be pretty much instant when loading these things but now it takes about 5 or so seconds just to load the model.

1 回覆Yep same here, perk descriptions and models take way too long to load for this hardware. Also noticing some models too far to the right so parts leave the screen as well as red and green stat changes disappear off right side of screen when looking at some far left perks.

1 回覆I have the same problem on PS5, with loading when you inspect weapon/armor, infuse, mod. I tried PS5 system ssd and m.2 ssd same problem, i tried to delete and download the game again didint fix it. First i noticed something was wrong is when you start on mars, its like the game felt heavier, more input lag, and then in the menu with the loading. I play almost everyday so the first time i moved the camera around i saw it !! Its not fps drops, fps is fine, its more like heavier, input lag.

1 回覆Yes it very slow now on the Series X. Really no excuse for it, it's not last gen hardware. Server strain wouldn't affect 1 piece of the character menu. Sunsetting locations is supposed to free up space for optimization and whatnot.. so that's not an excuse.

Hello, I'm bungies most recent post posted in the forums, they have noted that load times on consoles are VERY bad. This is because of if you have a full inventory or at least what bungie think it is, for now try and remove any unnecessary weapons and put them in your Vault to see if that increases your speed. Remember, even the smallest improvement its huge. But expect a patch where consoles can finally get the rightful frames back lmao

Same Issue for PC. All submenus for equipment loadout are slow and cannot do anything until they fully load (change mods, affinity, infuse, etc). Average time, for me, from inspect to being able to do anything is about 3 seconds of delay. Definitely noticeable compared to before Witch queen launch. I also notice quick frame stutter when changing weapons and Amor. For reference: Ryzen 5800X and 3090

1 回覆I'm on a high end gaming PC and it's exactly the same. Since WQ dropped menu lag feels like I'm on an original Xbox one. Swapping weapons or mods takes WAY WAY too long. Can we please get at the very least acknowledgement of the issue and a plan to fix it? This was literally instant for me yesterday and now it makes me just not want to play at all.
