The issue isn't the rewards, so much as the experience of going through a GM Nightfall for most people simply isn't enjoyable. So to get anything less than a top roll on anything is frustrating....because it means you need to play it **again**. Your (understandable) frustration is the negative feedback on this kind of content that Bungie just seems to be unwilling to accept, and keeps trying to find ways to arm twist and bribe us into playing it....rather than hearing that the vast majority of the player base simply doesn't find it enjoyable.
