Master Lost Sectors are unrewarding...
Bungie Dev Team,
Getting 5k glimmer 5 times in a row for completing Master Lost Sectors isn't fun at all. Exotic drop rate is way too low, given the fact that we must first get the exotic we want AND hunt for certain stats.
If Glass Needles won't ever be implemented in D2, farming for good stats exotics SOLO needs to be more rewarding, because right now, the time investment required does not match the desired outcome.

[b]Edit[/b] A few ideas to help improve this issue come to mind:
-Implement a sort of Lost Sector activity streak (like vanguard playlist) that increases your drop chance for playing them back to back
-Increase drop rate for flawless completions

66 回覆Theyre a 5 -6 min activity though. How rewarding should they be? Imagine if we could get an exotic every 5 mins. We would just farm lost sectors for god rolls non stop, rendering all other sources pointless

Yup, great concept but couldn't tell you how many times I've ran them for 3-4 hours and got zero exotics. The last time I ran them I was 2 hours in and got an exotic to drop from killing a random yellow bar enemy and was like...... that's a sign, immediately went to orbit 😂

4 回覆Bro, I got 90% of my exotic armour for all three characters through master lost sectors. So no, they are rewarding. You just need a bit of patience and you’ll be rewarded. The only thing I need to complete the exotic collection is the hunter exotic leg, Dance machine. I’m waiting for master lost sector.

3 回覆This should go for legend lost sectors as well tbh. I get the level difference impacts the difference but replaying Aphelion rest or whatever it is, & going 7 times in a row without getting any loot besides glimmer is a f****** joke. Especially considering that for some reason, Taken spam those ridiculously annoying stasis slow orbs, seriously who tf thought that would be "fun".

Soloing lost sectors is such a waste of time. They're not fun. You can't play with your weapon types because of the stupid -blam!- champions they put in literally everything to make it "harder". He'll of a stupid idea pushed through the chain.

4 回覆If this is how you really feel, why not just find some people and run master nightfalls, I mean you have a better chance at exotics. Then lost sectors

1 回覆Was thinking the same. Even the legendary. Was trying to get the helmet for my titan. Ran 4 hours and i got every exotic but the scar

6 回覆I play these lost sectors mainly for a fun challenge, the [i]intrinsic[/i] rewards of finding the smoothest way to do them. Getting exotic drops occasionally is just, like, a nice surprise! By the way, it’s been sort of determined that, from a time invested perspective, it’s probably more productive to run legend over master 🤷♀️
