After some extensive side by side testing and comparison. I have concluded that the wells of restoration mod provide no additional ability regen while equipped, the energy gained to abilities with and without the mod equipped is identical. Secondly, and this is a long standing issue, the character UI has a problem with it freezing when swapping weapons/mods/armor/etc. It lags out, becomes unresponsive for some time, then gives the "contacting destiny 2 servers" warning for a second before returning to normal. The rest of the entire game runs perfectly fine and it is this one single specific area that it happens, the rest of the entire menu system, gameplay, etc, is free of this problem and connectivity issues.
