You follow your basic instincts to a point given how you perceive a situation or things around you. Crow had a solid chance to avoid the downhill path he was on. He was let go for his treachery over Cayde and the Awoken people. He was let go of his sins for listening to Osiris when we didn't have confirmation of Savathun. But killing Cayde before, failing to follow orders of the Awoken Queen and Queen's Wrath Commander when they said she would manipulate him (which we still don't know if Savathun didn't manipulate his memories), and the cards of Crow gaining vanguard trust while she subdued Lord Shaxx with her song and gained Hidden network intelligence? The card right now is Crow is a confirmed spy because of his instincts for her. This is her plan and her doing. She studied him for his light capabilities and if you had any in-depth knowledge? I now doubt the original meetings during Forsaken with Mara was Savathun herself now because how else did the message end with, "my hunter friend" the next week following Crow being brought back to life? How does ANYONE explain that when Mara was stuck on the ascendant plane and he was nowhere during Forsaken! The only actual answer is Savathun was playing us from the very beginning to ensure her goal of getting light-bearer knowledge came to fruition and rather than allow the Wish Dragon to return to her as an ally? Dead at our hands. How about Nokris who worshipped her? Dead at our hands. She uses ALL of this to ensure someone else kills the target after she is done extracting what she needs.
