As someone who doesn't engage in PVP, when is the last time that Lenny James recorded new dialogue for Destiny 2?
Aside from Lance Redick, most of the main stream Hollywood actors seem to have moved on from providing voice work for Destiny, now that Activision is out of the picture. Heck, I'm surprised they got Shohreh Aghdashloo to reprise her role as Lakshmi-2.

I'm actually wondering if Shoreh just wanted to do the role. Lakshmi is basically the same character as Avasarala (probably mispelled) from the Expanse, and neither character is far off from her character in Mass Effect. I suspect she just likes to voice characters like that. Fine by me since I really like her. Would be VERY unfortunate if they killed her off, but I can see it since Lakshmi is kinda starting to be influenced by Savathun I think

Couple things about that. Lakshmi is an exo so killing her isn’t exactly necessary since she can technically just be reset. Second, Crow and the corrupted strike have set a precedent of “redeeming” corrupted “allies” rather than killing them off. I think unless she actually is savathun she’ll be “saved” in the process and likely directly by some form of Mithrax action to make it all the more humbling in light of her treatment of his people.
