Doesn’t matter where you try hiding. If an invader has EOT you are probably dead. I just typically set the controller down at that point as there is no point in trying.

I agree that EoT is a pain, but it’s the invading mechanics that need changing. Season of Arrivals “Gambit” was a lot more fun than real gambit imo. I think they need to ditch invading, fix the more collection - also if you kill you alone get to collect the motes that drop maybe?

I said it would be OP, oppressive, a milestone in powercreep, and will do major damage to Gambit, and it is. The multi-tracking ability is all ease-of-use, player skill negating, and no drawbacks. This is why people want it, make no mistake. This is why there is an uproar about droprates, make no mistake. The victim of this is Gambit itself. And it surely can't afford to suffer further damage in its current state. Bungie have got so used to sh****g on aspects of their own franchise, I just give up wondering.

Step 1: find reliable cover Step 2: choose your weapon/cheese of choice Step 3: EXTREMELY IMPORTANT- Watch enemy team's invasions. If they're close to invading, make your way to an empty zone and await the invasion. Cover the Bank if you can, but don't fire once you're invaded. Step 4: Visually scan for the Invader. On the old Gambit maps the Invader usually spawns in a zone without enemies, and not in an occupied zone (where you're standing). That leaves either the empty zone or rarely the enemy spawn zone. Step 5: GET THAT MUTHAF****!!!! Step 6: ????? Step 7: PROFIT!!!!

Hide underneath something, seems to work for me. I also have bad omens with tracking and cluster bomb with ammo finder and scavenger. If I don't get heavy to drop I pick up heavy when it comes available. Then when an invader comes and I see him/her I lock on and its bye bye invader.

1 回覆Gambit just needs to go ....it’s a sad one round one mode now. Get rid of it to free up some space .

I invade and get lots of kills with EoT all the time. I also get killed by EoT all the time. Doesn’t matter as much if you’re depositing motes before getting invaded. Let’s face it, this game has a lot of players that don’t make good decisions.

Truth was more annoying, target lock you from across the map, with three rockets, thats 3/4 of your team gone, those were slightly different times but Truth is still annoying, has been since Prime... Honestly if I get killed by someone weilding EOT I won't be mad, I will be impressed, most people still don't have one, RNG makes it hard to obtain an EOT even after people have ran full DSC 50-100+ times. I respect anyone with Eyes of Tomorrow or One Thousand Voices!

Make sure you find him before he finds you.

7 回覆I don't think you played gambit enough. There's a lot of things invaders can crutch on when invading. Gambit glorifies things a lot.

1 回覆Eh, just hide behind cover. Most eyes users (myself included) just camp in the back where we spawn and wait for someone to run into the open.
