Just wondering as I never really paid attention to stats etc. Is it personal choice? Or are there specific attributes for each gun that are top notch?

Pretty much the perks which are the absolute best options you can get on the weapon, it can be personal for you or it cannot, depends on whether or not you're looking for an optimal weapon or a optimal weapon for your personal tastes/loud outs. It's sort of contextual.

Honestly it boils down to how you play the game. Dont listen to streamers, their mostly pricks.

Preference among the best perks. Rampage vs frenzy vs one for all, feeding frenzy vs overflow, quickdraw vs snapshot etc. For example my god roll steady hand is quickdraw swash. Some people like slideshot and dont care about quickdraw, prefering being able to counteract the abysmal reload, but I find the handling more important so thats what I opt for. Both slideshot and quickdraw are god roll level perks though.

It does come down to personal preference but some perks are just better then others. Frenzy or One For All are the best PvE damage perks so getting one of those in combination with another good perk like Surplus is what you want. In PvP things like Opening Shot/QuickDraw are the best options but it does come down to what rolls you want specifically.

由Xienthius編輯: 3/2/2021 1:54:23 AMTwo ways I see it. God roll being two great mods stacked together that work together for either damage, ad clear etc. Basically whatever that weapon was originally meant to be used as. Or a roll that works to your playstyle over all others. There are ofcourse better mods than whats offered usually. My advice then would to get a roll with the mod you wish then work around the other mods to your playstyle

Comes down to what you want and in no small part your input method. For example, on MnK you basically want as much range as possible on a Hand Cannon, while on controller stability is far more important. Also, depending on whether you’re using it for PvE or PvP, you may want more damage and reload increasing perks or you may want more consistency increasing perks. Also depends on the archetype. Say on Shadowprice, for example, you’d definitely want dynamic sway reduction in PvP but in PvE I really like Overflow for that double mag size every time you pick up ammo. Comes down to a lot of factors, most of which depend on you and where you want to use it.

There are definitely perks/combos that are objectively better than others. In PvE, generally anything that readily/easily increases damage, reload, Mag size, or reserve size are considered top-tier, but which perks exactly are the best are highly dependent on the weapon type and what you personally want the weapon to do. In depth conversations about god rolls that go beyond the easy answer of “its whatever is best for you” takes hours to explain or countless hours of experience to figure out by yourself. I’d recommend testing out weapons with perks you don’t use very often or new perks, challenge yourself with them (aka don’t just go into patrol because everything is good in patrol), and assess their value to your playstyle or the challenges presented to you. With that general game sense and knowledge of your playstyle you can comb over databases such as light.gg and assess the rolls possible on any desired weapon to come to your own conclusion about what a god roll for that weapon looks like to you. Immediately someone will respond to my post and say something along the lines of “its not that complicated” but these are the same people who probably don’t know that disruption break and shield disorient effect barrier champions and explosive payload and timed payload activate overload rounds faster. Many perks have niche uses, you just have to get creative, challenge yourself, and really target what is giving you problems so you can pick the best perks to combat it.

Depends on the weapon and it's use. It also depends on your playstile. EXAMPLE: For a PvP Shotgun, Range is key as well a quickdraw. That way you maximize the amount of times you can one shot an opponant at greater distance and quickdraw is for swaping in and out of your weapon at a moments notice. For a PvE shotgun, you want to maximize the ammount of damage you can burst into the enemy before needing to reload. So perks like Overflow or 1-2 Punch become more important.

In the broadest possible terms - a pve godroll primary will nearly exclusively involve a reload time reduction perk and a damage increase perk. The current favourites are usually feeding frenzy and rampage, and more recently, Frenzy. Masterwork and barrel perks depend on weapon type, ie short range weapons should have a range increase or recoil reduction, handling, etc. Secondary and heavy preferably a perk to increase reserves and ideal perks vary more widely depending on weapon type. -pvp godroll depend more heavily on playstyle than pve. Range and reload speed or handling/ ready speed usually more important that damage increasing perks due to the short duration of damage increase perks.
