I guess bungie decided to removed a large chunk of the game and told us that new and exciting things were on the way to simply give us old guns and armor. Sunsetting was done bad and it should have been a slow burn like d1 y1 Db and HoW dlc and not like the transition from y1 to y2 with 3 years on content. Not a fan of how sunsetting was done and so far have seen no reason to sunset weapons and armor the way it happen yet. Space of the game and all that yes I get but what should have happen was sunsetting y1 stuff so it can come back later with a new coat of paint or even darkness them up or something. Y2 should have had some things go away such as crown of sorrows,since it is on the leviathan ,and reckoning since needed some serious work. Maybe reckoning could have been a taken type zombie mode. where the nine test your strength and will to live by throwing an insane number of taken while reaching wave milestones the reward reckoning loot or specific exotics the higher you go in waves. Black armory would have been awesome with the deep stone crypt being a thing now. Imagine seeing ada learn how to make new and crazy guns for us to create while also giving us more insight on the facility. Even return old exotics like dregs promise and plan C since the DsC was full of fallen. With the sunsetting we have no real reason to go after anything or even hope for anything in return for our time and money invested. We can almost plan to be disappointed with every season and event now. Destiny is not a mobile game even though it has been becoming one more and more as the years go by. It has so much potential to be an absolutely amazing banger of a game but it is getting pulled in so many directions that just becoming more and more messy to follow. I don’t know what is going on at the studio but I hope Bungie is ok and didn’t give up on the game and is trying to get rid of it. I’m not saying boycott or “iM dOnE,dELetiNG mY ToOnS GoOdByE” I’m just trying to voice some feedback that is not, hopefully, seen as attacking bungie.
