Yes bungie doesn’t care about something that pays their bills. They don’t care about the only IP they currently operate. And just to be clear: Matter is another 3 years away at minimum. Meaning it’s likely still in pre-production and early writing stages, assuming it’s a AAA title and not a mobile game. It’s not a priority.
Here’s the reality: Bungie took a month off to spend the holidays with their families, now everyone thinks they gave up on D2. This same shit happens every years. Were you guys not here last year? Is your memory this short? Idk but I very firmly recall at the start of both 2020 and 2019, these same posts were being made. This proves nothing except that you guys are so predictable in your toxicity that it’s comical.

They make money outside of eververse. Do you seriously think the majority of players were playing the $40 expansion for free on gamespass? Na dude. And by that I meant you guys whining towards the end of Bungies vacation happens every year. Nothing to do with the actual legitimate complaints. You’re free to quit anytime you want. In fact, if someone feel like they’re getting screwed so badly, they should quit. Staying active in the game and on the forums of a game that you legitimately don’t enjoy does nothing for your case except prove you’re an addict.

It’s not about you disagreeing with me. It’s your pathetic childish attitude I refuse to deal with. Calling a company greedy, uncaring etc isn’t legitimate feedback. It’s whining. You want to give feedback? Fine, complain about the lack of weapons, the lack of new stuff, sunsetting, I really don’t care. That’s fine. That’s feedback. But all that feedback gets thrown out the window when you make childish comments like “this company that’s spent the past 7 years creating content for this game don’t care about the game because I don’t like the changes.” “They’re just here to make money.” Blah blah blah. What part of that is feedback about the state of the game? Literally nothing. The rest kind of speaks for itself. You’re not willing to have a legitimate conversation, you just want to make preteen jokes about people having sex with bungie. It’s not worth my time explaining the difference to you because you don’t want to comprehend it. You think you should be able to say whatever hateful, aggressive, or sexual comment you want, then have bungie listen to and respect your opinion. That’s not how the world works, and they are well within their rights to ignore the bottom feeders on these forums that act that way. I think its just grind fatigue and a lack of inspired content. With some exceptions. The new subclasses are cool. Europa is gorgeously crafted. The music and graphics are great. Pvp got screwed over. Alot was taken out. The grind this and that bit however has been an ongoing, uninspired, and somewhat irritating issue for a while. Enjoy the aspects of the game you like and go from there.

I highly doubt that core grind will ever change. But I don’t disagree entirely. We need something new that lasts longer than a couple weeks. That much is obvious. Personally I’d like to see a new pve core activity. Something to add to the weekly loot grind that’s how unlike other things. What would that be? I have ideas, just like everyone else does, but the community so rarely agrees on [b]anything[/b] that it becomes difficult to get a single message across. I’d like to see an actual playlist mode of menagerie with different map/mechanic variants. Let Shaw Han open up some raid training camp on Earth, use the meter to dictate the reward’s tier and blah blah blah I could go on. What use is it? If we can’t get the vast majority of players to agree to that, we’re basically spitballing just to get our own hopes up. And since you can’t even get people to agree what genre of game it is, It’s a lost cause for the most part.

Compared to forsaken and ttk it is just a casual mess and instead of gaining, we took a colossal net loss in all facets.

That’s not what I said at all. I said people complain that bungie gives up on the game every new year because they go on vacation. Not that any/every problem started in the past month. Clearly that’s not the case. Explain how it was DOA? We just got back to last seasons population, and we’re over 2 months in. I’m not saying it was a Taken King or Forsaken success but it wasn’t Shadowkeep fail either. It much closer to RoI than anything, pretty middle of the road. We lost content, that’s true, but about 4/5th of it didn’t matter. The only thing of value that was vaulted were the pvp/gambit maps, and the raids, the rest didn’t remotely warrant keeping. Simple as that.

Nah dude. Holidays are fine, especially [i]this[/i] year. This has been happening for years! You gotta remember when a fan accuses bungie of not caring, he's talking: story, progression, but in this case it bungies' decisions. To players, I'd say Bungie has made about three years worth of poor decisions. Destiny has been managed (looking outside-in), like how my kids are always talking about infinite monkey theories... On a long enough timeline they'll probably get it right but... Who will be around to play it. Luke Smith is the man (inside bungie) because he was the first to realise they don't have to do a freaking thing and people will still throw money at the screen. Nothing is wrong with Destiny. It still make money. The problem exists that bungie has lost their integrity. So who cares if the game is crap and making money? Not bungie, the fans. And I'm sure I don't have to tell you-. Bungie does not listen. They may pay lip-service but they don't listen. (Until it's too late).

I think as a community, not fanboys but the hardcore folks that genuinely do care, they've broke us to the point where we are finally starting to see the abuse in the relationship you know. Used to be the fear of missing out would override the anger for me personally but it's easier and easier to walk away and play other games and not give a shit for the first time in a long time

I only care about activity. If you’re not playing the game, you have no reason to criticize it except to bandwagon. I couldn’t care less about your raid report or your total hours logged (unless it’s something minuscule like less than 100) I just care about how active a person is. It makes the difference between a salty player and a common hater.
