Most Taken became the puppets of Oryx, only pursuing their thirst for the Light when they didn’t have direction, so a Taken Worm might not feed off of its host or follow the Worm Pact. If a Taken Worm fed on a Thrall it would probably have the exact same effect or no effect, and it’s very unlikely that it would give the Thrall any extra abilities. Being Taken fills weaknesses, so a Taken Worm might lose its dependence on having a host or any desire to feed on a host, meaning it might not feed on them. BUT what you should be asking is if even Xivu Arath can grow wings. She is now the most powerful living Hive, but her power is insignificant compared to Oryx’s. Remember that thanks to the Sword Logic Oryx had the combined power of Auryx, Savathûn, Xivu Arath and Akka, plus some. Some of the Worm Gods are probably still more powerful than Xivu Arath, and no one has been described to be powerful enough to bend reality on the level that Oryx could. Many are just raised believing the Sword Logic, and they all have no choice but to follow it because of the Worm Pact. Nokris defied the Sword Logic and Savathûn is trying to as well, and most or all of Savathûn’s Brood betrayed the Sword Logic with her.
