I will be writing a story soon and need as much hive knowledge as I cah collect. Help a mortal man out here people.
How did oryx get his wings?
What is your interpitation of "worm wrestling"?
Is the king morph heredity or pure luck mixed with certain conditions?
If hive cah be taken, can worms be as well?
If a taken worm was feed to a thrall how the hell would it effect it?
If savathun can control taken does that mean she also has the power to take, or at least know how it works?
Stupid question indeed, but does savathun have any known offspring? Same thing for Xio Aravth?
Which one would you expect to have offspring that would later be strong enough to have wings?
I know soul transference is a thing, but is soul fusion a thing among the hive?
Is there anyone of significance on the dreadnaught at this point in time?
Has there been any documented case of hive having a will of their own and wanting to leave the sword logic behind? Whats the chance they'd make it out alive with this type of thought process?
Was savathun using -blam!- magic to cause the interference in season of arrivals or was she using the taken?
I'm sure there's more but I can't think it up right now.
1. He willed it so, he was so powerful he could just grow his wings on command
2. Think of it like this: wrestling with an upset stomach. You're not actually in a brawl, you're just fighting it metaphorically. In Oryx's case it was probably trying to take a few chomps out of him
3. Very little information is known about morphs. It's possible in nature any hive could take a kings morph but in their society only one can at a time
4. Ehhh... Probably not? Hard to explain
5. See previous answer
6. Savathune's control over the taken had never been fully explained. Some believe she acquired the tablets of ruin, while others believe she uses Quria to simulate Oryx and just mass produce taken. The second explanation explains why all the taken are still using D1 models save for a couple Outliers
7. Savathune has multiple: Malok, Bûlwar, Dul incaru etc. As for Xivu it's unknown but likely (before anyone mentions her taken children in the dreaming city: Oryx had the exact same thing back in D1, a bunch of taken wizards. So they're not actually her kids)
8. Xivu
9. Yes, Inquisition of the damned for example
10. Most likely not. The Cabal have either died or joined the red legion, and the remaining Hive are most likely starving to death and infighting just to keep their worms fed
11. Yes, literally savathune. But remember, abandoning the sword logic doesn't mean you're good now, the sword logic is simply a code of ethics essentially
12. Nokris and Savathune were blocking use from receiving the Darkness' messages by barricading the tree of silver wings and desperately trying to keep us away/kill us

Well ascendency isn't restricted to just the Hive, but rather anyone is able to become ascendant so long as they follow the sword logic Essentially if you follow the sword logic and prove that you have become stronger as a result, you can achieve ascendancy and even creat a thorn world for yourself Hive are the most common race to partake in these things because their entire culture revolves around the sword logic. And again, the sword logic isn't necessarily evil, Eris even claims to have seen a throne world built for the Light. TL:dr follow the sword logic and become stronger as a result. Boom, you can achieve ascendancy

A throne world is created by powerful ascendant Hive, essentially they carve out a little pocket dimension within the the ascendant realm using A throne world is essentially a respawn point. If you die your soul is sent there and you respawn, it requires a little outside intervention to summon you back into our dimension but it is possible
