So many people telling OP that necrotic grips don’t need a buff when they’re not asking for one. They’re asking for the exotic to work the way it says on the exotic.

It's already one of the strongest exotics in the game, it doesn't need extra melee energy involved.

Why do people want every good thing turned up to **broken**?? The thing is borderline OP when used with Thorn as it is right now.

So I understand people saying it works with thorn. Theres multiple issues with that however. Yes, its powerful [i]with thorn equipped[/i]. In content like raids you tend to run exotic heavies or other such important exotics. An exotic kinetic that isnt izanagi's has next to no place for raid encounters. This same principle tends to go for high rank nightfalls as well. What people are asking for is not a buff, but a fix. The exotic has a very clear description stating: "Damaging combatants with melee attacks corrupts them with increasing damage over time. Defeating a corrupted combatant spreads the corrupting effect to nearby targets [u]and restores melee energy.[/u]" It currently does not restore anything. And due to bungie having locked out multiple exotics this season already, one can assume that its synergy with thorn is entirely intentional, and that the gauntlets do not, in fact, function as they should.

If you kill an enemy with thorns bullet damage then it spreads.. if the enemy dies through thorns tick damage, then it doesnt. Gauntlets are amazing. Dont need a buff.

I think its a cool idea for a exotic to do more with a gun equipped

Thought I was the only one that saw this. So much shit is bugged in this mess of a game. Not that I care much anymore. I haven't really played the past two weeks, and I'm gonna do nothing but Cyberpunk from now on, and Halo too.

it works hreat for me and my friend. punch 1 thing and it spreads like a fart. the melee return is sma but its there.

Inb4 the overly sensitive start having a meltdown over suggesting a fix for something that isn’t working on a Warlock item

it was working fine before this last update. I didn't even notice they weren't working properly the past few days.
