Simply accept that "Luke Smith" doesn't really care about quality, he cares about cash and once a person stops having passion & dreams but only care for cash to fill a void they delude themselves into thinking doesnt exist then you get something like activision or luke sith... ups smith XD it would be a simple matter to fix his problematic designs and make it so they earn more or less the same but lets be real here... its bungie... p2w is the path they chose to stand and fall with rather than be innovative or passionate about the work. They had the option to make players think the P2W model was Activisions fault by making only cosmetics for silver but instead went even harder on the P2W model making activision appear as the better company... which is scary if u know about Activisions current & past actions...

I was in your position with Destiny 1. If you want to learn from someone who has been through your shoes. Here’s my advice. [b]Don’t bother with it[/b] Destiny’s timegated design is a scam intended for you to waste your time. This is a toxic retention scheme that is the result of left behind policies of the Activision days. The game, as fun as any game is meant to be, is in the end, still a game. The mantra behind it however is akin to digital cancer in how it aims to pervade investment to bleeding into gameplay. A few years from now [b]nothing[/b] you do in this game will matter, but your time spent does. Understanding that it’s a game (a toxic one at that) is key to understanding that it really does not matter. Destiny’s post TTK design has been a literal cancer to gaming, on par with loot boxes etc. This is a unregulated territory where shitty practices can be practiced because no one is willing to challenge them. The addicts cannot see it because they’re addicts, and those who can see it do not care and have checked out because they do not want to get invested in this cycle like the addicts. Or you can just learn that yourself 5 years from now. *shrugs*

I mean. It is 3 matches. A week. At the worst, you spend 20 minutes in a single match. The glory rank is meant to be competitive, if that even means anything in the current sandbox. It could be worse. It could have applied even when below fabled rank. But it's not. Not sure why you care too much about it though, considering that Bungie made pretty much every crucible pinnacle weapon easy to get, only 2100 glory. Or earn 3500 glory, for that one thing. Aside from that, no need to go past 2100. In which case there is no decay.

As others have said. You only have to play 3 games to stop the decay. That is 45min of crucible a week. It is not really a job to stop decay

I got my unbroken title months ago. Idc if it decays now. They're no other carrot to chase after getting that title and comp is dead to me personally.
