I used to really enjoy strikes in d1. Me and my buddies would play them just for fun. But I just can't bring myself to do them anymore in d2. I think essentially being forced into them every week, the lack of interesting modifiers and the fact weve only had 2 new ones since Forsaken has just made them a chore.

Exactly, D1 did a lot with strikes to keep them fresh! Better and more modifiers could be a great start as one commenter already mentioned. I think they may need to take a second look at other reasons guardians are not playing strikes and nightfall other than unique drops. Not that it would hurt!
