So just a few thoughts on the way Trials has been. First off, the process of even being able to take part is not very accessible for the community as a whole. Sure you can use the LFG just like the raid or other pre-made fireteam activities. But the toxic nature of simply looking for a group is very discouraging. Especially when you see "be good" or "high k/d". Now I understand this is a high level competition, but so is Comp, and Bungie was able to make that accessible for solo players and fireteams, without taking away from the challenge itself. As for the power level, if we have to be a minimum of 960 to play trials. Why then are we playing against 1000 + power players. Perhaps have brackets of power so you're actually able to compete. 960 - 985, 985 - 1010 and so on. As the power level gets higher you get placed with players in that bracket. Also for players that have gone flawless, let them compete with each other rather than dump on players that are just trying to maybe just get those 3 or 5 wins. Skill doesn't matter when you can barely do damage to a player 40 + power above you. 🤷🏾‍♂️ The "get good" mentality is not community. It becomes toxic and shows the nature of the "community" when it comes to competition.
