Yeah? You’d be surprised what some hoarders keep in their vaults. Once I saw a player with nearly every exotic in the game in their vault, almost all being 750 light with bad stats.

Silly anecdotes are... silly anecdotes. There is absolutely, factually, more randomly rolled, unretrievable, items in the game than vault space currently.

Random rolled? Yes. Unretrievable? Doubt it. Actually useful or used often enough to warrant having them in the vault? No. You don’t have to have every single available item, or at least most of them, on you or in the vault at all times. That’s what collections are for, so you can have a place to look at all the weapons you collected without needing to have them in your inventory or vault. There doesn’t need to be a 3,000+ storage vault, because you have collections. 500 is more than enough space for a lot of armor sets and weapons that you actually use to be stored until you need to use them.

If you can't reacquire them [i]at any time[/i], then they are "unretrievable." And suppose you wanted something "basic" like a specific piece of world armor? It might take weeks to actually have that piece drop. And it might have awful stats. Collections are absolutely useless for most legendary non-cosmetics. Nobody is asking for 3000. +50 per season is rational and realistic. Just remember, there's probably some new light player with one character, who doesn't raid, who thinks 100 is plenty. Eventually, you would be unhappy too if vault space wasn't enough to suit YOU.

Next you’ll bring up my comp KD. I used to play comp in Y1 with my friends who used to play D2, and back then I was almost as bad as you. I started this game at around a .9 brought it up to a 1.2 around when Forsaken launched. I wanted to get Luna week 1 and I was not the slightest bit used to being precise with handcannons, so I double handcannoned and pretty much threw HELLA games to get the 100. (Each game I pretty much went 1.0) That flattened my ability to raise it fast, but if you check destinykd.com, you can see your performance on each character. On my Warlock and my Titan (which I only really made/started playing after Forsaken) I have I think a 1.7 and a 1.6 in competitive. My quickplay KD started off as a 1.2, because, well, I used to be bad back in Y1. Come Forsaken I got my shit together and started raising it to the current 1.7something it is now. My most used weapon is a handcannon too, add that to the cry about it list. Playing the game and getting better =/= farming stats I know your bad kid scrub mentality knows no bounds but you’re honestly quite the spectacle to look and laugh at. You’ll never get better if all you do is patrol and shoot story mission AI. It’s almost like me committing to PvP has made me a better FPS player, and the more time I spent in it the more technical/mechanical skill I picked up thus making me a better player. [spoiler]Fun fact I was #376, top .2%, in supremacy elo a couple of days ago.[/spoiler] I still play the new PvE content, but I don’t play it to the lengths you scrubs do because it simply isn’t entertaining or engaging after the 10th time. If this game didn’t have PvP, I wouldn’t be playing it. Most of the playerbase wouldn’t either I’d say. It’s the only thing that keeps me wanting to play because improving and using the new guns/playing in a new sandbox is fun, not -blam!-ing grinding xp for no reason to have a third week tier 100 battlepass.
