I’m expecting the Darkness race to look like what the drifter described on some icy planet father out in the solar system.

Yess! Drifter said the creature in the monolith was PURE darkness and looked like a cross mix between hive and some weird demented disfigured thing. So I imagined it to be deformed and scary...and of course drenched in darkness. Like nothing we've seen before I hope.
