Can't unlink deleted Steam profile
So, I set up my Cross save about a week before Shadowkeep had launched, only to screw up and not only buy silver right after, but then realize I had also linked the wrong Steam account. After that, I didn't agree with the fact that I'd have to wait about 5 months to unlink and fix everything, so in a desperate attempt to be able to play on my PC, I went ahead and deleted that Steam account, since it was just an unwanted account and I couldnt have cared less about its existence. Obviously, that didn't do anything and here we are 5 months later, all the time restrictions are gone, but now I can't unlink the profile since when I try confirming my login info, Steam tells me the profile doesn't exist..
I tried submitting a ticket earlier on this Forum, only to have the forum randomly deny my submission by not allowing me to select any tags for the post, so I'm hoping now this works.
Someone at Bungie.. please.. Help me get this fixed. I would love to play on PC, but I cant until I get my Cross Save resolved.

In order to unlink an account, you must be able to authenticate it, which means you must be able to log into it. Bungie cannot forcibly de-link it. [b]I would suggest contacting Steam concerning recovering your Steam account.[/b] This will save you a lot of trouble and let you keep your current Bungie.net profile. If you are unable to gain access to your Steam account, then you will not be able to unlink it from your current Bungie.net profile. If you're trying to set up cross-save, then your only option will be to create a new Bungie.net profile and then unlink/relink the accounts you actually want to that new Bungie.net profile. Just keep in mind that if you go with the new Bungie.net profile, you will lose access to the code-granted bonuses you've redeemed on Bungie.net because those are tied to your current Bungie.net profile.
