I don’t need Hammerhead, I’ve got Truth.
Stop crying for nerfs. If you’re dying that much to one weapon, then the problem is you.

I've never had a problem with any other weapon. The Hammerhead really is the only thing I see. Shotguns: avoidable, snipers: nobody can really aim, other mgs: spray anr prey all the time but still negligible, rocket launchers and nade launchers: not enough ammo, hammerhead: team wipe and full heavy again.

由TheArtist編輯: 2/17/2020 6:30:40 PMHow do you keep dying? 1. Are you wading into mismatches, or are you the victim of ambushes with the weapon.? 2. Why aren’t you taking advantage of the weaknesses of the weapon. Hammerhead is popular because of its damage and it’s ammo economy. But it requires the user expose himself to return fire so he can put out the continuous damage. Which means the user is vulnerable to high burst damage weapons and weapons you can “peek and shoot with”. Like snipers, bows, rocket launchers. Etc. 3. Are you hiding/waiting to be found and giving the initiative to the invader...or are you going out to actively hunt him down?

由TheArtist編輯: 2/17/2020 6:47:59 PMBecause you brought a gun to an artillery duel. If you think Hammerhead is OP. Wait till I come over with Truth or Two-tailed Fox. You May be able to win a 1v1 with that bow if the invader is sniping because you can force him to back down between the burst damage and flinch. But you are not going to win that fight against someone with a heavy weapon who knows what they’re doing. Gambit is not the place to demonstrate your prowess with a bow. Go see Shaxx in the Crucible for that. Gambit is open-world pvp, and is about killing your opponent as fast as possible. As invader because you have 30 secs to kill as many opponents as possible. As defender, because your going up against someone with an overshield and wall-hacks who is coming at you with a super or a heavy weapon if he’s a good Gambit player. His plan isn’t to duel you. He’s looking to steamroll you. The weapon isn’t your problem. Your problem is bringing a finesse weapon to what is a power weapon/space-magic fight.
