Was just banned for no foreseeable reason, plz help!
The username is Bobski72, and I was just banned on my account. The last match I played I made a lapse in judgment in Crimson days, and was forced to afk. I have had network issues in the past, but overall I barely afk at all. I don't see how this can deserve a permanent account ban, and would love if someone from the support team could check out my account and see if there has been a mistake. It is extremely frustrating to see 200 hours and a hundred dollars apparently be gone for no explainable reason.

Doing something only once / 1 time does not lead to a restriction or ban unless you are using code injecting software or cheating in some way. Connection based restrictions or bans you are given a warning about your connection first before any restriction or ban is places. Bungie investigates accounts before they hand out any restrictions or bans. After investigating your account, they found a reason. They will not remove this restriction/ban. On the occasions they do respond, the answer will give a date and a very brief reason which will be one of the following below. Giving someone your account information is breaking the terms of service with your platform. Your account is your responsibility. 1. Cheating 2. Any software being detected by Destiny while it's running. These could include Trainers, Aimbots, Auto-fire, Mods, Graphics Hacks, Network Accelerators anything that injects code into games. This includes any cheats etc that you use for other games DESTINY 2 PC AND THIRD-PARTY APPLICATION FEATURE COMPATIBILITY Also see Steam Service Agreement section 4. ONLINE CONDUCT, CHEATING, AND ILLEGAL BEHAVIOR 3. An unstable connection is having an impact on other players. RESTRICTIONS AND BANNING POLICIES You agreed to the license agreement. Bobski72[/quote] Unless you go afk more often than you say that won't get you a ban. They don't care. Loyalty. Time played. Content purchased. Gear earned. When you started. Intent. Threats. Begging. It is all irrelevant. They make the rules. We have to follow them. Break them and they penalize you. They've had this no tolerance policy since Day 1 of D1. It won't change anytime soon. The process for BANS and RESTRICTIONS involve reports coming in from players or their flag system towards an individual. The person at Bungie HQ reviews it. And they decide if it was warranted or not. Intentionally or not your account broke the rules. Ignorance doesn't exempt you from them. Your account is done. If you pray hard enough maybe just maybe the person that runs the BNGSecurity account will care enough to give you an extremely vague reason as to why a punishment was issued. The chances of that happening are slim to none. Since you are on PC, let’s start by you listing every program you had running while playing Destiny 2. Be honest because Bungie already knows. If you want anyone here to help you identify why you may have been banned then you need to be honest and lust every single program you had running not just the ones you used to play Destiny.

You had something running on your pc that wasn’t allowed.
