For the love of all that’s holy, LET US PICK ARMOR OR WEAPONS!!!
Please, please, please!! Armor, or weapons. It was in D1. Please bring it back. I’ve been playing iron banner and keep getting weapons. 16 bounty’s between this, and the last iron banner. 2 armor pieces. I give up.

I am so tired of getting drops that duplicate what I already have, or am wearing, and which don’t help me at all. I’m not even trying to get a great roll. I’d just like to not grind trying to get something my character needs just to get a piece of junk that doesn’t help, over and over. I don’t need 4 boots in a row, when there are so many slots I really need something for.

5 回覆Nobody would pick armor because the stats are s-hit on almost everything outside the raid and iron banner.

Not being able to pick what you want is the single dumbest excuse in a loot game to keep you playing longer than the content actually provides. It's my single biggest gripe with Iceborne (R11/12 decos). Thankfully thats at the end of the end of the end game. In Bungie you get slapped with barriers the entire time. Leveling up my character and stats should be the source of my power. Armor should be supplemental to the character, not defining the character. Just goes to show how shallow the game is.

2 回覆If you haven't done the seasonal Iron Banner quest on that character you will never get any armor. The armor is locked behind quest progression, each of the 5 steps unlocking one piece of armor (and rewarding that one piece upon each step completion). So by the time you complete the quest you will get one full set of armor. Until the quest is completed you could literally do a million bounties and still never get a single piece of armor. So if there's another Banner event before the end of the season, focus on that quest.

They should get rid of the quest we just getting the same ass armor and give us an option like in destiny 1 to pick either a weapon or armor piece. I remember zavala having that an option for his bounties along with lord shaxx i think plus that robot i forgot what he offered but it was for something.

I went through almost 500 tokens trying to get a weapon and got almost nothing but IB armor. [b]Theory[/b], if you are after armor RNGebus says sorry (not) weapons for you. If after weapons RNGebus says armor for you buddy. PROVE ME WRONG :)

The simple problem with loot in this game is that it's tied to RNG and it never gets updated, leaving us grinding for the same stuff over and over again thru unprotected loot drops. The reason why people enjoyed the Menagerie was because you could pick your rewards straight down to the masterwork, making farming much more enjoyable since you knew you were gonna get the gun/armor piece you wanted.

Playing iron banner this season in order to get pinnacle gear... Why ? In a season with high level content why not. But in THIS season you definitely do not need to suffer getting pinnacle gear in order to reach a level that is going to be obsolete in 1 month. No wonder why people start hating the game if they play activities they dont like just to get a useless +1light level. Especially when you realize the artefact does everything you neee when it comes to light level.

2 回覆Just put all vendors back to how they operated in D1 and give us factions again - with exotic class items and a meaningful choice per character, not account!
